Twas brillig, and the slithy toves

Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:

All mimsy were the borogoves,

  And the mome raths outgrabe

I don’t know what Lewis Carroll meant when he wrote this in Jabberwocky, but if he meant that it was raining when they got to the ride and they thought about just going for coffee but the forecast wasn’t for much rain so they rode anyway but it kept raining and it was dark in the woods but they still kept riding up Sidewinder and got soaked through completely and there were puddles and fir needles on the trail like it was fall but at least it was warm even if the rain did keep falling and then they had to make a decision about whether to keep going for a bunch more time to Pressure Drop or just go down Ridge run even though it would mean walking some parts but at least it was down to the cars and coffee and a chance to get out of the rain so down they went and then just when they got to the cars the rain stopped but they went for coffee anyway, well, if that’s what he meant then . . . today’s ride twas brillig!
