Four of us made a good start on the new Telus road connector trail "BE good Tanya" represented by the blue line in the attached picture. I drew the line in to the best of my ability but I can make no guarantees to it's accuracy.  A week ago Friday, Rod and I hiked and flagged a route that looked pretty good part of which when riding back up the valley would have been a hard single track climb.  Jim J and I hiked back down that route yesterday and on the way back up from the bottom Jim noticed that the skidder road we were on had another fork going up.  Needless to say we followed the road and it brought us right to the open mossy rock section that Laurie Eric Jim and I stopped at yesterday.  This new route will make a much easier climb and save us all allot of work as we mostly need to remove some of the small trees that are on the road bed.  It also answers Laurie's question of how the old timers got the equipment in and the trees out.

The next work day will be Saturday Nov. 6 leaving from my house at 9:40am and meeting at the intersection of Trout lake road and the Halfmoon Carlson forest service road (AKA the Carin range road).
